The nose has tons of wet clay and wet cement with high chamomile, apple, and oak characteristics. Sweet and oily in the mouth and really light as you swallow. Chamomile, cream soda, and wet cement are really high in flavor. Complex, rich, smooth. Flavors of caramel, vanilla & spice. The finish, although hot, starts sweet and is balanced by bitterness.
PRODUCTION NOTES-The agave is harvested at between 8 - 10 years and roasted in an autoclave, bound for stainless-steel column-distillation. The reposado is aged 7 months in ex-bourbon barrels and packaged in hand-blown glass. Note: The original box is worth seeking out to play with the cardboard cutouts.
